Pure Travel Group - Terms & Conditions

The purchase of a Calgary to Kicking Horse airport shuttle service (hereinafter referred to as the "Travel Services") offered by PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC constitute a contractual agreement between PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC and the customer and implies your acceptance of the PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC. terms and conditions described hereinafter in the sections "Things to know before you go" and "Other terms and conditions".

Please insure that you read carefully and understand these terms and conditions prior to booking.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

PAYMENT

Unless otherwise stated, customers must settle the total of all sums due at the time of booking by means of credit card. Reservations do not include insurance charges or travel agencies services charges which may apply. PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC strongly recommends that you purchase travel insurance.

1. PRODUCTS DESCRIPTIONS

PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC has made all necessary efforts to ensure that all descriptions available on this website are accurate. For several reasons beyond the control of PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC, modifications can take place during the season which may affect products descriptions. These modifications will be noted and PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC computer reservation link will be updated accordingly. It is the travel agent's or tour operator’s responsibility to advise their customer of these modifications. No representative of PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC is authorized to alter or ignore any of the provisions hereof.

2. PRICES INDICATED

Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars ($ CAN), unless otherwise indicated, and are based upon the prices of service providers, the exchange rate, the cost of fuel, taxes and other fees in force at time of preparation of the products description. All prices are subject to change without notice. Specifically we reserve the right to apply a fuel surcharge as a reflection of the continuing rise in worldwide oil prices.

3. RESERVATIONS

Reservations are strictly personal and must be accompanied by a payment in full before they can be considered confirmed. Unless otherwise indicated in these Terms and Conditions, all amounts are per person.

4. PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD

Verbal authorization given by the customers to PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC for the use of a credit card confirms the reservation, whether or not the draft is signed. However, upon request by PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC, customers must stipulate in writing that the credit card may be used without their signature.

5. CANCELLATION

We understand that things change in life and sometimes it is not possible for you to take your vacation. Our suppliers have to plan in advance for the services they provide on your behalf; in most instances this means a financial commitment. In the event of you having to cancel your travel services with us, the following rates will apply unless otherwise stipulated:

Shuttles:

  • 49 hours +: Full refund minus CAD$10 cancellation fee per person per way
  • 48 hours or less: No refund

GST applies to all cancellation fees.

* Regrettably cancellation charges cannot be waived. There will be no exceptions. No refunds on unused services.

6. INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that customers may purchase travel insurance, including trip cancellation insurance and health insurance, at time of booking. For information and details about the travel insurance plan best suited to their needs and the cost for such plan, customers are advised to consult with their travel agent or other providers.

7. TRAVEL DOCUMENT

It is the full responsibility of customers to obtain at their own expense all necessary travel documents required by all relevant government authorities, and to comply with the laws thereof.
Customers are responsible for checking which documents are required, and then make certain that they have the necessary documents in hand prior to departure. Customers failing to provide the required documents may be denied boarding privileges by the carrier or relevant authorities, without further recourse or the possibility of a refund. Entry to another country may also be refused even if the required information and travel documents are complete. No refund or replacement will be given for lost or stolen travel documents.

PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC shall not be liable for any aid or information given by its employees or the travel agent in connection with obtaining any necessary travel documents or complying with any laws, whether given orally, in writing or otherwise, or for the consequences suffered by any customer resulting from his/her failure to obtain such documents or to comply with such laws.

8. CUSTOMER ADVISORY

Some events are part of normal unpleasant occurrences which can happen when traveling abroad. The customer realizes this, solely assumes the consequences thereof and agrees that PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC cannot be held responsible for any damages owing to such occurrences.
Construction:
To maintain the quality of services, hotel complexes must regularly undergo maintenance, improvement and renovation work and, in some instances, consider expansion. Whenever construction or renovation work that is likely to interfere with the use and enjoyment of any accommodation is brought to the attention of PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC, every reasonable effort will be deployed to promptly notify customers.
Weather
Some of the activities sold by PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC, either as a part of a package or as an individual component, can only be supplied when weather conditions allow for safe commencement of such activities. We will advise you if the activity cannot commence at your original booked time.We will endeavour to rebook that activity at a suitable alternate time. Should this not be possible then a full refund of that activity will be made, minus credit card charges, 3rd party supplier charges and any other incurred costs.

9. TRANSPORT SERVICES

PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC is not responsible for travel delays caused by poor road and weather conditions. Travel continuance is the sole discretion of the driver. If the scheduled airport shuttle is cancelled due to weather or other circumstances, PURE TRAVEL GROUP will endeavour to advise you at the earliest possible time and you will be booked on the next available airport shuttle.
PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC is not responsible for missed flights due to delays caused by weather or road conditions.
PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC is not responsible for delayed in-bound flights which result in customers missing their scheduled shuttle. In this case, it is the responsibility of the client, travel agent or tour operator to contact PURE TRAVEL GROUP to secure a booking on the next available Calgary to Kicking Horse airport shuttle service.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Luggage Allowance
Passengers are allowed 2 pieces of luggage weighing no more than 23kg each plus 1 piece of hand luggage. Skis, snowboards, bikes and other sporting equipment must be properly packaged for transport. Oversized luggage or improperly packaged equipment will be allowed at the sole discretion of PURE TRAVEL GROUP and may be carried on a separate shuttle. Oversized baggage charges may be applied.
On Board
Under Federal and provincial law the following activities are prohibited on board, consumption of alchohol, smoking and carrying of fire arms.
We also ask that hot food and drink is not consumed on board for the comfort of other passengers.
If using cell phones and personal entertainment systems please ensure that you do not disturb your fellow passengers.
No dogs, cats, birds, or other animals will be transported. However, a service animal, trained for the purpose of accompanying a disabled person, will be permitted to travel with the disabled person at no additional charge.
Pick Up Times
PURE TRAVEL GROUP provides pick-ups from your accommodation. Please be ready outside your accommodation 10 minutes prior to your schedule pick up time and expect us no later than 15 minutes after your scheduled pick up time. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they wait in a location in which they can be seen from the road. Drivers will not ring doorbells or hotel rooms.
Calgary International Airport Pick Up Procedures
Your scheduled airport shuttle will arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time and will park in the charter bus parking bays. In the event that you are not met after Customs or Baggage Reclaim by your driver then please make your own way with your luggage to Tim Hortons coffee shop on the Arrivals level 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time and wait for your driver. Please see the airport locator map for more detail.
In the case of a private charter the driver will meet customers inside the airport terminal at the exit of the customs hall with a PURE TRAVEL GROUP sign.

10. PHOTOGRAPHS OR PICTURES

Photographs or pictures appearing on the PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC website or any other literature should be used solely as an indication and shall not be construed as part of these terms and conditions. Customers are advised to make their selection according to price, location and services offered. Vehicles may vary from those shown.

11. CUSTOMERS REQUIRING CARE AND ASSISTANCE WHILE TRAVELLING

All customers requiring special care, assistance, attention or treatment must advise PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC of any and all specific needs at the time of booking, in order to arrange transportation, hotel, tours and activities.

12. CHANGES TO TRAVEL SERVICES

If confirmed Travel Services are no longer available prior to the departure date or subsequent to arrival at destination, PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC reserves the right to substitute them for comparable alternate Travel Services, or, alternatively, to cancel them. If the substituted Travel Services are of lesser value, the liability of PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC shall be limited to the sole difference in cost. If the substituted Travel Services are of greater value, the customer will be required to disburse an amount equal to the difference between the price of the Travel Services purchased and that of the substituted Travel Services. The customer will be entitled to refuse such substitutions. In such a case, and in the event of a cancellation, the liability of PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC shall be limited to the reimbursement of the price of Travel Services paid by the customer.

13. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Statement to the Travel Agent or Travel Wholesaler:
Customers are responsible for advising their travel agent or wholesaler of their intentions, expectations and needs, as they relate to the proposed travel, before the reservation is completed.
Health:
Customers whose physical condition so requires must ensure that they have a sufficient quantity of any required medication with them, and that they must carry such medication in their hand baggage at all times. Customers must also consult competent medical authorities prior to departure about preventive medical measure to be taken as regards to the countries to be visited and activities undertaken.
Sports and activities:
Descriptions of sports and other activities contained in this website are provided for information purposes only and are not meant to incite the customer in any way. PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC cannot be held responsible for any accident or mishap occurring at the destination during the practice of any sport and/or activity in which the customers participate of their own free will and initiative.

14. FORCE MAJEURE

PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC shall not be liable for failure in the performance of any of its obligations, including without limitation, for any loss or damage resulting from any delay, cancellation, adverse weather conditions, loss of personal belongings, illness, bodily injury, accident, death, deterioration of Travel Services, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment or frustration, either mental or physical, due to:

  • An Act of God or Force Majeure or third party wrongdoing;
  • A war, revolution, insurrection, riot, blockage, terrorism or act of terrorism, or any other unlawful act against public order or authority;
  • Fire, flood, explosion, earthquake, epidemics, pandemics, public health emergency, quarantine, storm, lightning, hurricane, tropical storm, tornado or tropical storm;
  • Accident to or failure of an aircraft or equipment used in connection therewith, loss of or hijacking of an aircraft, or any shortage of or inability to provide labor, fuel or facilities;
  • Any strike, lock-out, labor dispute or other industrial disturbance whether involving PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC' employees, the employees of its service providers or others upon whom PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC relies;
  • Any government order, regulation, action or inaction or any failure to obtain the approval of a government authority having jurisdiction in the circumstances as may be required to the conduct of operations hereunder or any government or legal restraint upon such operation;
  • Others upon whom PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC relies for the performance of the whole or any part of any Travel Services hereunder;
  • Any other causes beyond the reasonable control of PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC and any other event not reasonably to be foreseen, anticipated or predicted, whether actual, threatened or reported, which may interfere with the operations of PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC or of its service providers.

15. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC makes arrangements with, hotels, activity providers and other independent parties to provide customers with Travel Services they purchase. Although PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC takes great care in selecting these service providers, it does not have any control over them and cannot be held responsible for their omissions, fault or negligence, or that of their employees, nor for any loss or damages suffered as a result thereof. Travel Services provided are subject to the conditions imposed by the service providers and their liability is limited by their tariffs, conditions of carriage, tickets, vouchers, international conventions and agreements.

16. CONFIDENTIALITY/PRIVACY

PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC strictly complies with principles of confidentiality with respect to customers' personal information, including in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

17. COMMENTS AND COMPLAINTS

At destination, customers must contact PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC immediately for assistance and to remedy any problem without delay whenever such problem can be reasonably remedied. If a problem cannot be solved or dealt with immediately, customers are requested to forward the specifics of the incident in writing to PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC within thirty (30) days of their return to point of departure.

18. LAWS

This agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia Any legal action instituted against PURE TRAVEL GROUP INC must be heard before the courts of this province.
